FOOD SECURITY AND LIVELIHOOD

Food security and livelihood Sector

The agricultural-dependent Syrian community faces worsening food security due to recurrent droughts, armed conflict, and population displacement. These factors disrupt farming, leading to low food production, increased food prices, and declining livestock values, resulting in rural unemployment and displacement. In response, the Amal Organization is strategically intervening to improve the agricultural situation, enhance food security, and support livelihoods, aiming to mitigate the adverse effects on affected communities.
