Sustainable Relief for Water Scarcity and Mitigating the Suffering of Conflict and Earthquake Affected Populations in NW Syria

This project aims to meet the vital water needs of communities (Hila ,Hila Dam ,Al Kafeir ,Maayan ,Bsanqul ,Ainata ,Al Tabayiq and Matleh) benefiting 9,052 individuals, including IDPs and residents. The comprehensive strategy involves rehabilitating water station, construction of underground water tank with a capacity of 100 m3, rehabilitation of the old underground water tanks, installing solar systems, repairing pipelines, and installing new polyethylene pipes with a length of 2,250 m. Additionally, establishing a Water Unit for sustainable management, and supporting the water station with operational costs. The objective is to swiftly enhance water access, reduce dependence on unsafe sources, and strengthen community resilience.
