Provision of Integrated Primary Health Care Services at North-West of Syria

Under the aim of providing health support to our families residing in the Akhtarin area and its surroundings, Amal Organization for Relief and Development announces the launch of its new project, Primary Health Care, which includes the operation of the Primary Health Care Center which provides health services to more than (30) thousand people in Akhtarin subdistrict in Aleppo Governorate.

Project duration 7 months

The project aims to provide the following services

Specialized clinics

Paediatrics Clinic - Gynaecologic, Obstetrics and Pregnancy Monitoring - Internal Diseases Clinic, seven days a week

Specialized clinics

ophthalmologic clinic - ENT clinic), one day per week

Specialized clinics

Endocrine Diseases Clinic), two days a week

Early detection of tumors

through the specialized devices available the center (mammogram and specialized laboratory)

PSS Services

Psychosocial support services provided by a psychosocial support specialist throughout the week

First aid services

Providing first aid services for wounds and burns

The main activities of the project

Providing health services throughout the week

Providing psychosocial support services

Providing essential medicines for patients

Raising health awareness through awareness sessions
